A tad shorter than the previous two books, Smoke and Fire nonetheless delievers the same punch as the others. It was nice to see the new twists and turns worked into the Presence world and Mina's own character, as they traveled unexpected pathways and continued to lay a solid groundwork for a lengthy and enjoyable series.
I eagerly await the next chapter of Mina Jewel's life.
