"When the Water Smokes" is easy to read and addictive. When I finished one chapter, I couldn't wait to start the next.
I am a photographer who also lives along the coast of NC. Bob Simpson, has for me, accurately captured the sense and rhythm of this area's unique environment. Read this book if you want to understand what make coastal NC so interesting, different and appealing.
