Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)The author has keen insight into the vapid nature of upper-middle class America and the disastrous consequences without being preachy. The writing style always mimics Marigold's state of mind, sometimes dwelling on seemingly unimportant things, sometimes racing through things that would be a big deal to normal people, but always reflecting what's important to marigold.
This book grabs you from the beginning and holds onto you throughout mostly because of the multi-dimensional characters that you can never really tell if you like them or not.
All in all, a great read.
