(More customer reviews)I bought and read this book before realizing that it is, in fact, a stand alone publication of Part 2 of Austerity Britain 1945 To 1951 by the same author. I wish I had known that before buying the major work and I hope that this comment might save at least one other person from making the same mistake. My review of 'Austerity Britain 1945-51', which is not very good, obviously applies to this book.
