(More customer reviews)I have been fortunate to travel a lot in my life both on and off the beaten path. I used the previous version of The Traveler's Medical Guide for years and it saved me and a friend at least once. The new version has even more information and updated resource lists. It is an excellent resource for initial self diagnosis of ailments. I have used when I am not traveling. It has saved me time, money and as well as provided a peace of mind. It has excellent, easy to understand descriptions of many different ailments and answer to most questions like "should I see a doctor?" "what meds should I take?" "what meds are available?" It even has some options for remote areas where there is no doctor.
