(More customer reviews)Before starting my Step 3 study I bought a few books that I thought would be needed for my preparation for the exam. This one has been an interesting one, because I studied the first few cases just before starting the USMLE world qbank. Unfortunately it was too late for me to return the book, since the real thing is much better, more realistic and helpful overall. I don't think the book is bad, but the actual exam is in a computer format, not paper based! Many of the cases were overlapping with USMLE world cases and the explanations were good and helpful.
Overall I would recommend this book to anybody studying for Step 3 without any previous residency training, along with USMLE world, because in this case you will need more exposure to this type of cases to perform better. If you are already in residency and especially PGY 2-3 then it is a waste of money.
