If You Love Somebody Who Smokes: Confessions of a Nicotine Addict Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)Cynthia Morgan enlightens the reader on so many interesting facts about the history of tobacco, she uses excerpts from Christopher Columbus' diary, a quote from Ben Johnson who speaks for his friend Shakespeare (and may be the closest we have ever gotten to how Shakespeare thought about anything), and there is even a bet waged between Sir Walter Raleigh and his queen, Elizabeth. A warm hearted, funny, funny book. I loved the section on the history of advertising cigarettes, but what I liked best was that she took us on the adventure of her own quitting process by making it a story. Has she written any other books? She should write a novel!
